Workshops & groups

Flexible programs for individual growth and shared learning.

Trauma-informed therapeutic skills development for individuals, alongside collaborative workshops for women, communities and NDIS provider clients.

A diverse group of women taking part in an accessible collaborative workshop

A human place to begin

A program should fit the person—not ask the person to fit the program.

Whole Warrior Workshop™ is an example of how a structured program can be built around one participant. It can be delivered 1:1 as individual therapeutic skills development, beginning with assessment and collaborative selection of modules, sequence, pace, learning methods and outcomes.

Potential modules include self-awareness, grief and life transitions, coping in a crisis and recovery planning, emotional regulation, relationships, communication and boundaries, engaging with services and systems, budgeting, protective behaviours, consent and future planning. Content is selected because it connects with the participant’s functional needs and goals—not simply because it appears in a standard course outline.

Whole Warrior Women Workshop™ can be delivered in an NDIS provider’s office as a collaborative program for their clients. Providers can engage Tania Gorry as a consultant group facilitator and work together on participant profile, access needs, safeguarding, delivery format and practical skill-building priorities.

Client story

From neglect to self-compassion: Sally’s Whole Warrior Workshop experience.

After years of trying to heal from childhood neglect, Sally described still feeling caught in anger, disconnection and recurring stress. Her individual program helped her make sense of those patterns and practise new responses.

Individual experiences vary. This client-reported story is not a guarantee of outcomes.

What changed

  • Connected present-day stress responses with earlier experiences.
  • Developed greater awareness of body signals and emotional triggers.
  • Practised self-compassion and ways to calm before becoming overwhelmed.
  • Built practical understanding she could carry into everyday relationships.
I started to notice things about my body and feelings that were connected to bad memories. It changed my life!

Is this the right fit?

Groups work best when access, consent and emotional safety are considered from the beginning.

A planning conversation helps determine whether an existing or tailored format is appropriate.

Questions about this service

Helpful information before you enquire.

View all frequently asked questions →
What is Whole Warrior Workshop™?

It is a 1:1 therapeutic skills-development program. An initial assessment helps identify relevant goals, modules, order, pace, barriers to learning and tailored resources rather than requiring every participant to complete the same fixed course.

How can an NDIS provider host Whole Warrior Women Workshop™?

The provider can engage Tania Gorry as a consultant group facilitator and collaborate on participant needs, access, safeguarding, venue, content, schedule and responsibilities. The program can be delivered in the provider’s office for its clients.

Do participants have to share personal experiences?

No. Participation is choice-led, and learning activities can be approached without disclosing private or traumatic experiences.

Can NDIS funding be used?

Individual therapeutic skills development may be fundable where it meets the participant’s disability-related functional needs, stated Therapeutic Supports funding and current provider requirements. A social group cannot be made claimable merely by describing its activities as therapy. Funding and the correct arrangement must be clarified before delivery.
